Rated one of the top albums of 2012 "Lonerism" by Tame Impala is nostalgic reflection through the past.  Blending sounds of Lennon, The Beatles, as well as some new age 8bit, this band is on track to something fantastic.  Give it a try, give it a couple of listens.

Macklemore - The Heist

This album is one of my new favorites.  Ben Haggerty, aka Macklemore, and producer Ryan Lewis have come together to make a killer duo.  Macklemore's lyrics dropping some social meaning into the world of hip hop that we can all use to listen to mashed up to Lewis' phat beats has turned The Heist into one of the best albums I've heard in a long time.
